Welcome to Viviq

Viviq helps you make smarter food choices by combining data from our community, supermarkets and trusted sources like Open Food Facts, NEVO (RIVM) and BLS (Max Rubner-Institut) with your personal preferences. For the most complete picture, especially with allergies or dietary needs, we always recommend double-checking the product label.

Viviq is your smart companion at the shelf, not a replacement for the label or medical advice.

Food labels shouldn't require a degree to read

Viviq is made by boostdev, a small studio in the Netherlands. We built it because we needed it ourselves.

Born from real frustration

When you live with food allergies, every meal out, every holiday, every supermarket visit in a foreign country comes with a layer of stress most people never think about. Reading labels in a language you don't speak, squinting at tiny ingredient lists, second-guessing whether a translation is correct.

That was our daily reality. We started building Viviq because no existing tool gave us the confidence we needed. Not a vague traffic light, not a list of E-numbers with no context, but a clear answer: is this product safe for me, yes or no.

Viviq is the tool we wished existed. We built it for ourselves first, then realised others were dealing with the exact same problem.

What we care about

Clarity over complexity

A scan should give you a clear answer in seconds, not a wall of data to interpret yourself.

Safety you can trust

Allergen data is serious. We cross-reference multiple sources and flag uncertainty rather than guessing.

Works where you need it

At a supermarket in Berlin, a restaurant in Paris, a corner shop in Amsterdam. Three languages and counting.

Your data stays yours

We don't sell your diet profile or scan history. Viviq is a utility, not an ad platform.
